DD had her 5month imms yesterday
Last night everything was fine.
This morning her legs are red at the injection site and they have hard lumps as well.

Should I go the doctor or is this normal?

I have googled but nothing comes up and I am a little bit worried about her.

Cooper has had that after both his 6 week and his 3 month injections, they turned into bruises after a couple of days.

We haven't done the 5 month ones yet though, but sounds normal to me.

E's did this. Try putting a cool flannel on them to help.

If you are worried ring healthline or your Dr

Yup, had them here also. I gave H a bit of Pamol and also a cool bath, and put cool flannels on them. I'd ring the practice nurse who did the jabs if you are worried.

Yes is normal...do they not give you a list of things of symptoms that are normal when you get the immunisations? Over here they give abit of paper saying what can be expected and it inclues redness at site and hard nodules under the skin.

It's a common reaction......not sure I'd use the word 'normal' though.

If you are worried take her back or ring the Dr./nurse for advice. I am pretty sure that the nurses are supposed to go over them with you, including the sorts of reactions you might expect, so you can give informed consent.....not that I have ever found that to be the case when I have taken mine.    Actually I lie, one did give me a leaflet once with the vaccines given and some of the possible reactions.
