Janaya has one 
I've mentioned to her that we might have to go and get it frozen off, but she is flat out refusing.
She's in a bit of pain from it so I wonder if anyone has had one and what worked for them? I remember having one when I was younger and I just operated on it myself

I had one earlier in the year  I tried a bit of DIY on it and all I did was make it hurt more!!
Im going to be honest, getting it frozen off hurt like f&%K!!!!!!! and it was sore for a few days after too, I ended up creating a 'pad' using a plaster and a cotton ball as it hurt to put pressure on it when I walked. The Dr did say mine was pretty deep though.

I had one of these when I was little and the only thing that worked was banana skin...I know sounds weird but seriously it worked.
You have to get a piece of plaster and cut a small hole in it then place it over the veruca so just the veruca is showing through the whole then scrape the inside of a banana skin and put that over the veruca then put a big piece of plaster over the top of that so no air can get to it (best to use strapping tape stuff) then leave it on for a good few days and DON'T let it get wet (glad wrap, tape and plastic bags over the foot in the shower and bath) then do it all over again, and just keep doing it until the veruca actually comes out of the skin. Much better than having it frozen off and I know of someone who had theirs frozen off twice and in the end banana skin was all that worked.
BTW they are super contagious so be warned that anyone else who has stood in the same shower etc. will possibly get one too.

i also had one when i was younger and i had to go back at least 10 times to get it burnt off - it took forever to get rid of it, but finally it disappeared. Wish i'd known about the banana skin idea - would have been great to try!

Ouch! I had one when I was little too, I'm pretty sure I had it scraped out (from memory it took a few goes) that's probably not much help at all, poor Janaya hope she feels better soon!

I had one when younger and my mum got some herbal cream which worked but I don't have a clue what was in it. I also had one a few years ago and used Wartner on it. Took a couple of goes but it did disappear totally. Though it says on the pack that is only suitable for children over 4 yrs.
Perhaps you could pop into a pharmacy or natural health shop and ask them if they have any natural remedies that will work. I am sure that I have seen some.

Oh ouchy! DH bought home some from his soccer showers not long after T was born. I wasn't keen on having them frozen off (been there done that) so tried wart paint stuff from the health shop, sorry I can't be more specific on the brand - it should still be floating around but I can't find it. Anyway worked a treat for me (tho not on my wart or hubby's verucas!). Hope you can avoid getting it frozen off.

I had two varucas on my foot. One that had been there for years and one that was a month or two old. I had tried wartner and having the dr freeze them. That didn't work. On the recommendation from one of the girls from work I tried Scholls Wart plasters. They cost $20 and got rid of both varucas within a week and a half. And best yet... NO PAIN!

I had one when I was 12, I tried cutting it off myself and made a big mess and it ended up bigger! In the end I had a podiatrist chop it off. He numbed it then chopped it off, hurt when I got feeling back but apparently it's much nicer than getting it frozen off.

I've had them frozen and I've used the wart paint from the doctor, the wart paint worked the best (on the verucas)
On a normal wart I rub dandelion juice on it, forget about it and then they're gone. I haven't had either in years!
