I turn the TV on last night after missing a couple of episodes and there's Yvonne at Ben's bedside.
What did I miss? How did he end up in a coma?

Yeah got hit in the head and Hunter got stabbed with a screw driver??
They (Ben and Yvonne) were having a BBQ and Hunter and Ben went to get ice, stole a car park, Hunter was cheeky and they got attacked.

I was waiting for the controversy of yvonne trying to do IVF and have a baby for ben. Looks like that isn't going to happen now.
Maybe now they will do the donor thing and she will get in touch with the recipients.
There can't be too many more storylines they haven't used yet. Unless they do a days of our lives or young and restless (I don't watch either but know one is famous for bringing deceased characters back).
This does sound a bit cynical. I must be in a mood. I do like shortland st. Really.

Can someone explain how that blonde girl working at the bar knows Keiran? I assume she is from his past somehow? I only missed the first half hour on Monday but now I'm a bit lost

Was a lady of the night in thailand and bumped into keirans brother who is there. He got drunk and spilled the whole story to her and now she is blackmailing keiran.

I agree, and yet I still hang out for 7pm so I can watch it and get my shorty fix, its somehow addictive for me. Good ol mindless tv.
DH and I are getting into the storyline with the dentist and the racehorse, can't wait to see what's going on with that

I'm the same Tara - the storylines can be so tedious but yet I still hang out for 7pm and love that it's on for an hour on Monday's again! 
I missed last nights episode due to a power cut so I hope I didn't miss much, I'll have to go to the TVNZ website to read up before tonight!

Surely the writer's aren't desperate enough to write a pregnancy for Yvonne into the story line. 
I want to say I wouldn't watch it if that happened but I'm another one who like to turn it on at 7pm.
My step-daughter (almost 16) always walks out of the room when it's on and say's how lame it is. Even when DP reminds her that her Aunty was on it for a long time way back. She was Nurse Tiffany who ended up being another one of Chris Warner's wives.
