Topic: Its not over yet ... Posted: 28 January 2007 at 8:33am |
My temperature is still high, up on yesterday. The last 4 days (incl this morning) temps go - 37.0, 36.7, 36.8, 37.0. 37.0 is the highest temp I've ever had, so I'll see what tomorow brings. In theory I won't start bleeding today with a temp like that ...and you have *no* idea how much I wish I'd charted this month! My temp on the morning of AF is usually around 36.3.
My cervix is still really high, and *does* feel like lips, not nose. Though, in saying that, I don't have mucus in adundance.
Last night, I really felt like AF was on it's way - but I don't know how to describe the 'cramps' because they didn't feel like cramps as such.
My back is killing me but my boobs aren't hurting any more.
I didn't test this morning - I'd rather see blood when I go to the loo than another BFN. But I'll go to the pharmacy today and get a First Response test if I can.
And now, we wait.

OK, this is killing me!!!
If AF does show up, I would say a trip/letter to specialist is in order and hopefully they can work something out. Keeping everything crossed (which incidently is making it very hard to do much )

Hey Ginger - how are you holding up? You're doing really well at keeping us all in suspense - now didn't i tell you this would be your year! Really hoping it is and you're about to get a positive result....remember some people (including me) don't get a positive for a couple of days after AF is due...

Geez people ...I thought *I* was a wreck!
I'm going to feel like a complete nong when AF arrives, I really am I know a lot of you have been pg, and felt like AF was coming, but in my heart I think tomorrow morning I'll get the temp drop I've been waiting for.
I promise you though, tomorrow morning if I haven't got a temp drop to report, I'll do another test. I couldn't get First Response though - I got a Discover instead.
I want this so, so much - I feel like I'm going to dissolve in a puddle any minute. I said to DH today that if we are pregnant now, our baby would be due just a few days off our 6th wedding anniversary.
Please, please, *please* everyone keep everything crossed for us! I keep telling myself that I can't know until AF arrives, and that there is hope.
Oh, and Paws? Every time I see that damn ticker, I want pie
And now, I'm going to go and do stuff to keep me occupied!
Thanks for keeping me (semi) sane gals

I want this so, so, so much for you Ginger, and if you report a BFP, I would be tempted to drive across Auckland to give you a huge hug (but a gentle one too!).
Everything still crossed, and still no AF is a good sign.
And yes, Paws, I want pie, or a cupcake!

Mmmm ...cup cakes!!
And after all that, I caved and tested. Absolutely a BFN. I used the Discover, which in theory will give you a result 4 days before your period, and there wasn't even a *hint* of a second line.
So, I'll keep you all posted on AF and I'm really a bit embarrassed about getting everyone so worked up

Miss got a BFN on that test too ginger when she tested on due date, and she is pregnant.
I hope that you are pregnant and continue to have everything crossed for you. And believe me you have no reason to be embarrassed at all, remember I did 4 tests before I believed it (and just to embarrass myself, I did one when I was about 7 weeks pregnant as the ones I did early were so faint I felt cheated so wanted to get a real positive result )
