OK so on the online Dompost website this morning it's got an article on '3 strikes and you're out' for our worst offenders. There then follows a list of the 'worst' crimes and the maximum sentances they carry. On this list I see that an indecent act with an animal can get you 14 years- totally fair enough btw!- but that the same with a child is 10 years??? Um shouldn't they be at least the same?

I know...random Emmecat! lol I just found that weird.

its because so much of the legal system was put in place so long ago - just like section 59.
