Hi,

DS has always had masses of hair, we started going to haridressers young as it annoys me when it gets long, anyway in the last couple of months he will not cope at hairdressers, even looking at chair he screams and causes the biggest fuss.

So I am trying to cut myself, but need good scissors

couple of questions?

Did anyone else have kids who hate the hairdresser
Where can you get hairdresser scissors from

I cut my daughters hair yesterday , she no longer has a mullet ....
its hard cutting little ones hair cos they are more likely to wriggle around , but I fhink if you sat him infront of his favourite program, he might cope better ?
I have a pair of scissors my friend ( a hairdresser ) gave me years ago , but im pretty sure you can get some at most chemists

We shave DS's hair with the clippers (number 4 so its not too short). He wasnt too keen on it the first time (he was 8 months old) but he is fine now. It only takes a few minutes, we just sit him on a stool outside, and DH reads him a book while I "buzz" him. We bought a clipper set from Noel Leeming and it came with scissors, I think it was $30?

Good luck!!!

We use clippers too. He hates it but it's sooo much quicker.
