Hi there,
I have just registered so thought I would tell you my story
I got married last Aug and this is the 2nd month we have been trying. Last month I obsessed sooo much about being pregnant I even went and got a blood test the day it was due because I was so certain, then girly thing arrived & I was very disappointed. So this month I didn't think about it at all and my fingers are crossed it has happened.
My period (sorry, have to get use to all the abbreviations!), was due yesterday and all week I have had the feeling my period was coming with cramping so I have been expecting it but it aint here : ) I am going to test on Sunday so we shall see.
Goodluck to those who are trying to get pregnant and to those who are!

Hi and welcome to Oh Baby, good luck for Sunday. I'm Kerryn and live with hubby Karl, Ashlyn & Anastasia out in Southbridge. Enjoy using the site and getting to meet everyone. If you have any questions there is usually someone on here that can help out.

I so know what you mean, I was the same last month!! Was all convinced so I did a test and it was BFN and then the next day I got AF. Sure explained my moods earlier in the week though.
SO this month, I'm going to try and be like how you were the second month - not think about it too much. I guess it will help that I'll be back at work, so will have something else to obsess about instead!!!
All the best for tomorrow

Hi Fene
I'm also new to this website and it was such a relief to read your post. I too was on OBSESSION mode last month (have been for the past 3 months) and had pretty much signed up for motherhood then and there, but alas AF arrived much to my bitter disappointment.
Can you update us at to if you are pregnant? Havn't heard from your last post.

Hi!
Thanks for all your kind words This site is great, I am becoming addicted to it already!
hehe I wanted to test today but since I wasted 3 tests last month I thought I better wait one more day. It is amazing how obsessed you get about it and it is all you think about!
I will let you know how I go tomorrow.
Thanks again

Hi Salifer,
Just saw your post after I already posted.
It is great to meet people going through the same thing who can understand. I hope it happens for you soon! Let me know how you go.
It is amazing how obsessed you can get about it. I can't stand needles and last month volunteered for a blood test, even my doctor thought I was a bit crazy hehe
I will post tomorrow with the results! I just hope I can sleep tonight!

I am so glad you ladies said that about feeling so obsessed - I think I didn't want to admit it to myself but you have helped me to!! It's hard cos I've just been thinking about it so much, and you're right Salifer, I feel I've already signed up for mother-hood.
I'm trying to remind myself that I'm not God, so can't just MAKE it happen just like that...!
Will be thinking of you tomorrow Fene.

Hi guys,
Well I decided to test last night and it was positive!! I was so excited that I didn't get much sleep and have been awake since 5.30am, how silly is that.
We rang our parents last night and they are very happy as he/she will be the first grandchild for both parents.
Going by the internet calulations baby will be due in late September so a few weeks after my 29th birthday. I always thought I would be 28.
Thanks for all your kind wishes!
I am sure what made it happen this month was we went crazy and tried every day sometimes twice (haha too much information!!) for like 2 weeks but I also not thinking about getting pregnant. also after the deed I didn't move for like half an hour as I had heard that helps.
Salifer and Arohanui I wish you the best of luck and as hard as it is, try not to think about it too much and it will happen. Let me know how you go.

Hi Mum2emj!
Thank you!!! I still can't quite believe it!
I just replied to another one of your posts. We plan to move to Nelson no later than July. Hubby has to find a job so hopefully he has no problem.
I said in my other post we are hoping to move to Richmond. Which area to you live in?

Thanks busymum!
It is only 5 weeks today so still another 7 weeks until we are in the safe period, but fingers crossed it all goes well and I don't get much morning sickness.
We are off soon to buy a few baby clothes to celebrate, I hope I don't buy the whole shop! hehe
Thanks again
