so I am thinking in the near future of getting a 7 seater car..mostly for when the kids are older andeach have 1 or 2 friends over...be easy to transport an extra 2-4 extra people.
my husband doesnt think this is necessary and suggest just getting a station wagon for the extra bootspace but I am sure that the seats in the back of 7 seaters fold down?
he said if the kids do have a friend each have 3 in the back and oldest in the front..but I dont like the idea of a child under the age of 12 being in the front.
so those of you with 7 seaters what do you have....preferablly want one that doesnt look like a "people mover" no offence to those that do have them. and how much boot space do they have?
I have an odyssey and the back does fold down. I love the people movers or man van as my DH jokes about it when he has to drive it. Now that my kids are getting older though I am thinking of getting a SUV with the 7 seater option in the boot. I quite like the holden captiva. Toyota landcruiser or prado's are nice but expensive and hold their value alot so even second hand they are pricey.
It depends on your budget but
Mitsubishi Challenger have a 7 seater option although I haven't seen that many of them.
Holden Captiva
Ford Territory
Hyundai Sante Fe, the newer ones are coming out with 7 seater and I have seen one or two older ones.
Dodge Journey - not an SUV but kind of looks like one although I don't personally think they are that nice to drive.
I have driven all of these and we've settled on the Territory, now we just have to agree on the colour!!
