Yeah, watched this - hard to keep me away, I'm loving it and will be sad when it finishes... looking forward to the 2hr finale next week
Gotta say, I thought before tonight that Steve would be the winner but he let his standards slip tonight it seems I do love Kelly's enthusiasm though and am glad she got through (even though I wasn't so keen on the whole 'black team' coming back into it thing).

Bit of a shock sending both of them home, but then they did let themselves down.
I have to say I'm backing Brett that guy has scraped through so many challenges and has been there the entire time.
Go Brett.
I do think its lacking some of the class of the Aussie version, I liked the Master Class and the Celebrity Chef Challenges, and where is their trip away. Bit budget TVNZ

Well I couldn't have been more wrong with my prediction LOL!
Not so sure about Brett, he was in the bottom two to much in my opinion. I think its pure luck he is still there but won't be surprised if he wins it.
I do like Kelly's personality.
Steve was my favorite most of the time, gutted he went home today
Oh, and I'm also gonna miss watching it as I really really enjoyed it. None of that American drama going on. I liked that.

yeah Steve was my pick to win... Cant believe that brett is in the final because he was always in the bottom two! I so dont agree with the BLACK team coming back but I thought that Kelly should win from the beginning until she got sent home.

I am totally agreeing with you here.
The only thing i didnt like about Steve was how mcuh he sweated it seemed into his food.
Brett is okay, but i dont think he deserves to be in the top 2
and Kelly has a certain flare that appeals to me, even if her food doesnt

I cant believe Brett is still there - he makes so many silly little mistakes. I wonder is Kelly does win. Yesterday Simon (one of the judges) made a comment that she is working at Euro now which is one of his restaurants and I wondered if that was one of the prizes?

I was horrified every week by how much Steve sweated into his food - I can't understand why they aren't made to wear hats and neckerchiefs?
I think based on last night's dishes the right two went through - I certainly preferred their concepts for a cook book over the other two. There are a zillion other books out there on Kiwi ingredients and on home dinner parties.

Yeah I agree on the sweaty Steve thing, yuck! I can't believe Brett is still there with all the disasters he's had along the way. Go Kelly!

I did like Kelly's idea for a cook book - its something I'd consider buying. That pineapple dessert did look yum.

If you don't want to know who won, stop reading...........
Kelly got offered a job at Euro, starting Monday, by Steve. Brett won - go the Naki boy!!! I actually think Kelly should have though.

I think Kelly should have won too... Brett made too many mistakes and kept scraping in by the skin of his teeth!

I'm pleased that Brett won - he may have made some mistakes and come close a few times to being sent home but Kelly was sent home...but got a second chance.
And Brett sure worked well under pressure.

I'm glad Brett won. Although he did a few silly mistakes that got him in bottom two they were always simple things like forgetting to pick up the main ingredients like ginger in the Asian food challenge. Where as when Kelly got sent home it was because her dish was a disaster.
I'll buy his book

Of course Brett won - he cooked like a legend - loved his lamb dish - poshest meat and vege I've ever seen. He also cooked a better sausage.
Talk about bias on Simon's part though - there was no way Kelly's crocembouche was 3 points better than Bretts - I knew Simon had a soft spot for Kelly but that was pretty blatant.
I hope his book is out in time for Christmas - I'd love it. That Thai crab and beef salad looked yum.
Now their taking applications for season 2, bugger I'm utd.
