Hi all,
As my other half and I are keeping this journey to ourselves I am unable to ask people around me for recommendations. As we are not yet trying, I'm just trying to get a feeling as for what the midwives are like down here, and even maybe make contact with a few, so that when we are trying/do fall pregnant, I can contact my top choice straight away, and not have to "interview" them in those first few weeks.
Oh, and I also know about the Otago Midwives website, I think it is a fantastic idea, but it doesn't give me how the ladies come across in person :)
Did you get any PM's in response to this spitfire? I need recommendations too and the one my friend had she didn't think much of (although she did go back to her for number two). I've heard good things about Maria Stanley so I'm thinking about calling her.
