Hehe - so that got you curious! Its not really all that interesting im afraid - I am so sad of coming on here every day with 2 whole new posts to read since the day before.. What else am I supposed to do on my morning tea breaks?

So my interesting parts of the day so far are; I went and picked up DD from daycare just before, it was the carers birthday and she had done a HUGE poo for her to have to clean up She said to me "thanks for the gift you got me, but **s gift was not all that appreciated! :) This morning I worked and was really busy, I really love my work I am getting SERIOUSLY EXCITED about christmas this year and brought way too many presents (just small ones) over the weekend for DD (im sure shell love the wrapping way way way more than the gift )..

So - what have you done today that has been interesting? C'mon girls - give me some goodies to read tomorrow morning at my tea break

Hahaha! Awesome

Honestly? The best part of my day so far is that my SIL has taken Jacob for a walk to the park, so I can make frantic dashes to the loo in peace (damn tummy bug) and not have the little man 'supervising'

I've done nothing interesting today - I'm at work and not super motivated.

It was baking monday though so we ate loads of pumpkin pie from our american colleagues and lemon meringue pie. I think most of the office is in a sugar induced coma.

Ohh yum Pumpkin Pie! One of my American classmates made that last year - was delicious Funny how we use it as savoury and they see it as sweet :)

Hehe Hopes - the wee guy "supervising".. our wee kiddies will be horrified at the stories we tell them when theyre older Its these kinda things we should be writing down for the 21st birthdays... Ohh that could be another topic!

Ahahaha, this made me LOL literally

Ummm can't say I've done much that others would find interesting, just been organising lots of work things (xmas BBQ, dinner the team won for our general awesomeness , farewell/welcome morning teas, volunteering at the Zoo, birthday clebrations).

lol - re the supervising if learning is done by observation TT will be easy when we get to it.

We had Playcentre photos today and despite not having any of the messy play areas set up DD still managed to get dirty and wet - a complete change of clothes and managed to get her photo taken.

She's now been asleep for the last couple of hours, lucky DH is on night shift and I don't mind if she has a late night.

As for my interesting things today other than changing pooey nappies of course (always interesting eh...)

W has had plunket.

I have been for a blood test to check HCG levels (not expecting anything there).

And have submitted a short story to a science fiction magazine.

The company gives each of it's employees 1 paid day off a year to do some form of volunteering. Our team chose to help out at Hamilton Zoo, so we'll be weeding and mulching. Last year the team got to meet the ring tailed lemurs

Ooh good luck with the BT & short story Delli!

Hehe, just the "normal" sci fi stuff Isabella - this story is set in an alien prison on another planet, the main character is human though...

(A little bit of background - In my "spare time" (hah ) I fancy myself as a bit of a writer. I write and submit stories to professional paying science fiction and fantasy magazines... )

I spent 2 hours redrafting calves and putting them back in the right paddocks and then repairing the gates. I cannot wait to get rid of the destructive bull I have at the moment - the cows have 2 more weeks to get pregnant then he's out of here!

other than that, my wee girl is having a growth spurt so I've done a LOT of BF!

good luck with the test delli, hope you feel better soon hopes

Haha, this thread is making me glad my toilet is on the other side of the baby-gate!

My interesting part of the day was secretly buying DH the present he has been lusting after all year! He is going to be SHOCKED!
It's the shark, lol

It's a massive helium inflated flying remote control shark!! God only knows if he'll ever use it, but the man is so hard to buy for I was stoked when it went on sale!

I was totally going to buy the shark for DH too...but then he kinda dissed it when we saw it on tv! :(

Today DS decided to be an angel and instead of making the most of it, I used to to stay in my pjs until just before DH came home (so he wouldn't think i'd been in my pjs all day) and make a large dent in my current read.

DS also started to do the indian cry...so adorable!

oh and with the supervising...I not only get DS checking in but our little puppy!

OMG. I have never heard of these before. I think I need one. Just imagine the fun you could have. Imagine taking it to preschool, and watching the kids freak out! Or to a rest home! Or to a party where someone was on drugs! Or the supermarket! In fact, I don't believe there are many places where these could not go.

Those sharks are awesome!!

Not a good day here today - just waiting for DH to find out the details of his christmas redundancy. Great timing with me on maternity leave and all.

DD and I baked the most delicious boysenberry muffins this morning, but I fear I've eaten too many of them already.

It's raining again. I am so sick of rain. And I have so much washing to do. How do babies make so much washing?!

Sethsmama, what is the indian cry?
