Don't worry kandk.....I remember Milli Vanilli although I didn't have a tape....I did have both the Guns n Roses Use your Illusion tapes though (I now can not even stand any GnR songs on the radio...I have to turn it off!)
I had a 'Kris Kros' (or however the h@ll they spelt it) tape then I found myself and heavier music and went all 'ole school' with Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath.
Lily Allen would be the only CD I may slightly blush about now as she is so different to anything else I 'normally' listen to.

Why's the Lion King Soundtrack embarrassing? I own quite a few Disney soundtracks, and I wouldn't have put them in that class. Perhaps that makes it worse?!

I think it's only embarrassing if you still listen to them.... regularly!
I have Celine Dion, am sad the my George Michael Older CD is all scratched up & I do want to replace it.
Nothing wrong with Neil Diamond, he's a classic. I think embarrassing is the one hit wonders...
I've got the Carpenters on LP and still get out the record player occasionally & hook it up to listen. LP have so much better sound quality.

I agree, wish i had the lion king soundtrack! I'm always singing can you feel the love tonight (with pumba and timon voices included) to Max!
I have a lot of meatloaf CDs but i like meatloaf and they're epic to sing in the car! I used to have like, every ozzy osbourne cd out but i took them out back and shot them years ago!
Speaking of bad music, who remembers this (youtube link). And who remembers learning the dance of heart and doing it? And then jumping into the pool while drawing a giant S in the air. Noone? Just me..? Awkward...

I don't have any CDs left either after moving this year but definitely had most of those. I do still have the Spice World movie too!
actually last year at my wedding I had the Spice Girls song 'wannabe' on the wedding soundtrack and it was the most popular song of the night.. it was played at least 3 times!
Oh and Hopes I also some of the Lion King music on my Ipod, I love it
