I was wondering if I was the only one who thought it looked worse in HD, everything looks so much more fake and those weird scenic shots are just odd

lol I was saying to DH it looks like it was filmed in 1998! And ewwwww that shot of the wound in surgery, they have never done that before!

We have some fancy HD tv so it actually made it look better...but yes the cut scenes etc were very weird !

Totally agree, couldn't work out what was different other than it looks like an amateur TV show.
So far as the panoramic shots of Auckland I wondered if tehy were looking to market it overseas so getting a plug in for NZ.

Our TV is HD, it makes the picture look 10 x better it just makes the scenes look strange, I dunno. But in a week I'm sure it'll just look normal.

I love love love HD, everything looks so much better, we have HD TV's & HD Mysky...BUT I think Shorty have not compensated for how HD will show & the make up team need to change tactics & there camera work need to get a bit quicker...IMO.
I love to hate or hate to love Shorty but their acting skills are not on par with others & the crisp clear picture does nothing to cover that up...
You will get used to the look of it & after awhile forget what it used to be like...look wise...
