The Watties ones from the supermarket are good. Take the valve thing out to make it easier for them to drink from it.

I like the nuby ones with the soft spout as when they are littler the tend to bite down on it and it squirts out but now she sucks on it properly. The watties ones she found really hard with the valve and without the valve tey just leak everywhere!

I have used Nuby, Nuk and watties ones which are all good initially, until my son figure out how to tip the liquid out of the cup and I end up with a puddle of milk or water to clean up.

The best one is an Amadeaus 360deg.  It's ingenious!  We've had it for about 2mths now and he's still not found a way to empty it onto the floor plus because of it's design it's supposedly going to be an easier transition to normal beaker style cups.

You can get them with or without handles.

the safe sippy 2 is my other sippy cup. It's a 2-in-1 sippy or straw cup. Safe sippy link

DD has got a tommee tippee discovera from 9 months and is 2 in a week she has had it for a year and haven't had any problems with it. They come in different ages/sizes 4, 9, 12, 18 and 24 months but it all depends what your child is like.

I have had the nuby soft spout and wasn't as good as the TT one

I second MrsMojo's suggestion. We have one of these and it's great!

Sorry for being dim..... but I can't get my head round how that Amadeaus 360 Deg cup works. Is it a closed lid that has a gap all the way round the edge?

I got mine in BabyFactory. It is really cool the way it works. It is sealed but must have a small gap that has a valve system. The child has to suck quite hard to get it to work. Can't remember how much I paid for it though...
