Topic: How often do you leave your house? Posted: 07 July 2010 at 9:06am |
I find ive been going out every day lately, just to stop me going insane. I mean getting in the car and going out.
If i stay home all day i at least go for a walk to get out.
Taylah gets so grizzly at home, even if i spend all day playing with her maybe its just her age

Mondays is do nothing day, so that's probably the only day I make sure we stay in.. more for me to catch up on washing etc. He doesn't seem to mind it.
The rest of the week we tend to wing it.. if we get restless we'll got out, even if it's down to watch the waves at the beach.

Every day, several times a day. Get to stay at home sometimes on a sunday. When I only had babies/toddlers though it was only once a week at best. Wound up being quite a keen gardener, there wasn't anywhere to go where we lived walk-wise & DH had car at work, even just being out in the backyard helped with the cabin fever!

The past week has been every day but before that it would just be 1-2 days a week but always on the weekends as we'd go to MIL house and do groceries the next day.
I always try to make sure I get out at least once during the week.

Usually once or twice a week with the girls...otherwise I get major cabin fever. It has to be planned with military precision though!! I am going out this afternoon, and tomorrow afternoon as well...

Every day, a couple of times otherwise we'd both go nuts!
Mornings are usually music, play dates, library, supermarket etc and then I take him for a walk or the playground in the afternoons.
I would love to have lazy days but DS doesn't do lazy!

Haha my DS doesn't do lazy either! We go out at least once every day and if I can't (eg when I couldn't get off the couch from MS) my helper would take C out to the playground or for a walk. Usually we do a playdate or swimming or just a train ride or grocery shopping. C is very social so loves visiting the neighbours kids too.

I feel better now knowing its not only us lol.
DD has been alot worse since she started walking, she is just go go go.
Im staying home today, so im going to see how that goes. I might go for a walk if this rain holds off, but Taylah hates sitting in the pram for long now that she can walk.

Every 2nd or 3rd day mostly because if I went out everyday I would just spend money. Cabin fever is the worst thing and I find shopping is a good cure!

Lol BeLoved. I'm the same.
We go out 4 days a week, and I'm thinking of starting at playcentre in the not too distant future.

I try for every morning at least 5 days a week.
But that is cause i've got 2 the same age & they start fighting over toys as they get bored so we met up with another mum either here or at her place so in reality it's only 4 mornings we get out. We always get out for the school pick up as well though.

For us it depends, I try and go out 5 out of 7 days a week. But if we aren't doing anything fun at home he goes stir crazy. Yesterday we stayed home all day and it was great fun. We made bright yellow play dough together and got all sorts of things to press into it to make shapes (keys, fans, shells etc) and we sat there and did that for ages and then did baking together and played with his carpark etc. If its just sitting around home he gets bored.

Lol re- "military precision". I reckon us mothers could teach the nzdf a lot. DH (ex-army) used to refer to it as the "hurry-up-&-wait" system.

We go out maybe twice a week. in the summer it can be everyday, to the park etc. DD loves staying at home and I don't mind it. We have lots of games and activites and she never seems bored.
