is there a good one down te rapa ...i want to drop off some clothes but some places just keep the money they get for clothes and i want to make sure they put it towards something eg charity like red cross but they are right in town and as i live in ngaruawahia its a bit hard

There is a salvation army where spotlight is on te rapa road. Sallies is always a good cause.

Otherwise I am by the base and my mum is volunteering in a shop in tokoroa/putaruru where they raise money for the local cat rescue. I can store it until I see her next and take it out there.

I vaguely remember there being clothing bins along the main drag (SH1)...but could be wrong?

yeah savemart is all about money for themselves i want to give them to someone that knows needs them and its for a causse.

there is clothing bins but kids light them on fire and do 'other'things in them so im just gonna take them in.....salvation army sounds like the go...and i that was the one i was thinking of but couldnt remember where i had seen it...thanks guys

You could always ring Women's Refuge, they are always on the lookout for decent second hand clothing.
