Just wondering how much formula everyone else's babies take per feed?
DD will only have 100mls a meal and maybe 150mls for her night time bottle if im lucky. I'm not worried as she is happy and healthy. I just thought she would be on more then she is now at 4 months old (solids haven't started).

Ricker - baylee takes anywhere between 160 & 240 just depends on how hungry she is at the time.

I try to keep her at 4 hours between her feeds now but sometimes she wants it after 3 and sometimes after 5 - I just go with the flow usually and it seems to work

I dont think there is a science to it and if Kyra is happy with those amounts I wouldnt worry -she will let you know if she is hungry.

A week ago I would have told you that Liam takes 200ml throughout the day, 3 hours apart and 230ish at night which kept him going all night.

As of now.. can be anything from 100ml - 250ml anywhere from 3 hrs - 5.5 hrs apart and 250ml doesn't keep him going through the night with no interest in solids.

Oh the joys.. just when I thought I had a handle on things

Kerryn, Lexie takes 150mls every 3 hours pretty much religiously. I tried to give her 200mls every 4 hours but she was throwing heaps more up having that much. Plunket said a good thing to do is give them half the bottle burp them let them play for a while and then give them the second half. Apparently its fine to reheat the formula once but any more than that not so good.

Oh yea and according to the formula container Lexie is supposed to be on like 250mls now

Jayden has between 160 - 200mls a feed. He has started wanting feeds 2 hrly during the day. 5am, 9am, 11:30am 1ish, 3:30ish and then 5ish. I just go with the flow as they will tell you if they are hungry or not.

Cooper has between 100-150mls each feed and between 150-200mls for his bedtime one. Some days he'll have less than 100mls too for the first 2-3 feeds. I also tried spacing them out, but he still doesn't drink more, so I generally offer it to him 2.5-3hrly to try and get him to drink more. But he's still gaining wait and definitely plenty of wet nappies so not a worry.

I'd say in 24 hours he usually has between 500-800mls.

I think it definitely varies depending on the bubs,

DS was not quite finishing his 250ml bottles a few weeks ago, but is now polishing them off. So he has 4 bottles over 24 hours (7am, 11am, 3pm & 6pm) = 1000ml in total most days with no solids yet. He has always had a huge appetite though.

I can't remember what the girls were on at 4 months old but Bex...the girls have only recently started taking 250ml, and it's their night time bottle. They've never taken it at any other time!!

I weaned DD to formula to go back to work when she was 4.5 months and would only take 100ml per bottle, at 6 months we got her up to 150ml, she did use to have 5-6 bottles a day though. To date 200ml has been her biggest bottle, she prefers smaller more frequent bottes (still having 4 a day :S)

C takes up to 180 anywhere from 3 - 5hrly, unless he's decided it's a snack feeding type of day. That's after breast too, but I don't have much milk to give.

He doesn't have bottles overnight, only booby so I can't say what he takes after I go to bed but not much I don't think. Just enough to drift off again.

Don't worry about it - Not everyone eats the same amount in a day
