Topic: How did you pick your forum nickname? Posted: 07 January 2010 at 9:29pm |
Asking this in this section cause I chat to a lot of you regularly and always wondered what was behind your choice of name for some of you. Of course, some are obvious...
Mine is cause my middle name is 'Mae', and obviously the rest comes from wanting a baby...

Cool question MB! Mine is obvious now (lol) but at first I was Nathansmummy.....which was also obvious since my little mans name is Nathan. I was always envious of some of the more inventive names and wished I had taken more time over thinking about mine lol. Then I decided to change mine because a)Nathansmummy was too damn long and b) I thought as soon as I get UTD Nathansmummy would be a tad redundant lol and c)maybe Nathansmummy as a name was jinxing my TTC efforts LOL

Babykat I have been thinking this for a while but I have to say, Jaelyn is a beautiful name.
Mine is a bit weird, obviously my name is Lisa, and a few years ago there were these ads on TV for Lisa's hummus, where they would pronounce it as "lisaas" instead of Lisa's to try and make it sound exotic. My friends started calling me that and yeah it stuck. And 101 was the number on the end of one of my first email addresses when annoyingly you cant get the one you want and have to have a number on the end, now I just tack it on most of my usernames if I need a number lol.

lol Lisa, I used to get the same thing (same name lol)
And thanks we named her for her nana who passed away just before we found out she would be a girl, and a good friend who had been like a 2nd mum to me (J for her nana, and Lyn being the friend) plus together it turned out it meant something scarily appropriate for our family too.

I used to be Fleury as that's my name with a Y on the end and I used that on NZWP.
But then OB got more popular so didn't want to use something real obvious.
After I got married my last name begins with G so that makes me MrsG and a 1 to make it a little bigger.
Love people who use their pets names so cute.
