Hi,

Just wondering how long babies can be affected for after their jabs. It goes without saying that if I get worried about DS I'll take him in. We got our 5 month jabs yesterday morning and he was hot and grumpy from early afternoon. We had a very unsettled night and he spent the night in just a nappy and singlet. I gave him one lot of pamol before bed and I think it helped a bit. He was still upset but not as hot. He is still bfing normally. I gave him another dose of pamol this morning and again his temp is down a bit. He's now in bed (hopefully for a while as the poor little guy must be exhausted). After the 3 month jabs he was fine by now.
Please share your experiences.

Lil miss spiked a nasty temp after one lot of jabs, I can't remember if it was the 3 or 5 mth ones tho? (they all blur into one lol!). It went up on the evening that she had the jabs and she was better by the next day.

JJ took 2-3 days to recover from the first set of jabs so it can take a little while. Send me a text if you need a break

we only just got DS's 5 month jabs done yesterday and he is the same plus very sleepy. ive been trying to give him extra water which he isnt keen on but is eating normally so im just letting him sleep it off and give him pamol when he gets grumpy. unless he gets a wiked temp i wouldnt worry too much. its strange though cos Macks other ones went fine as well.
