I just used a normal, big pillow and it worked well.

a tri-pillow normally works pretty well. my sister had a zoo pillow. you can get cool ones from baby city, i saw them today and when baby is a bit bigger they can be propped up on them when they just learning to sit

I have a zoo pillow, works well especially if im expressing one breast while he is on the other as I dont have to prop him up at all.
Otherwise any old pillow will do really

I brought my pillow from Farmers and found it great. But I lost interest in using it after a while I didn't really need to use it, it was just quicker getting Arianne ready for BF without worrying about the pillow aswell.

I just used a big normal pillow or tripillow when I needed it, but now I don't need anything like that.

Yeah I'd just use a normal pillow also, i found the breast feeding pillows more hassle to be honest.

Also if you have a small build, the breastfeeding pillows can be too big. I just used a normal tripillow but my sister (who had twins) tried to use one. She has a small build and the babies would always slip between her and the pillow as it was too big

I bought a breastfeeding pillow from Baby Baby and to be honest, haven't used it once. I have a tri-pillow and just find that way more comfortable. The Baby Baby pillow seems a little big for me as I'm not a huge person - I should probaby take some of the beans out - just haven't got around to it really. I'd suggest trying a normal or tri-pillow to start off with to see how you go - you may be able to get away without having to buy a special 'breastfeeding' pillow.

Thanks for the info! Yeah i guess its just one of those "unnecessary" purchases that everyone makes you think you just HAVE to get! Lil one hasnt come yet, so i guess i'll just leave it and try pillows out, and if they fail look into getting a special pillow.
