Hi
I have just stopppd bf'ing dd at night and am tryng to get her to drink cows milk from her cup. She drinks it in her sippy cup with her lunch, but come bedtime she just screams and throws the cup if I offer it. I am not sure what to try next or to just give up on it. Any help much appreciated
thanks
We give Isabelle her milk in a bottle at night ... I think its more of a snuggle thing than anything else .. night time is the only time she wont drink "like a big girl" .. she just wants to sit on our lap and be a baby
Mummy to Issy (3) and Elias (18 months)
I did it .. 41 kgs gone! From flab to fab in under a year LFs weight blog
what about trying a bit of milo in the milk? I stopped b/f Ella a couple of months ago and started giving her milo just before bed.....told her it was a big girls drink and now she was a big girl......and she loves it.
Thanks guys Alas dd has never taken a bottle I have tried milo but its a no go and we tried Nesquick too.
The last three nights she has gone down without anything, I just feel stink cause she is going to bed with no milk in her tummy Will keep trying !
I wouldn't feel bad about it, Spencer dropped having milk before bed of his own accord around that age and just has his milk in the mornings. She might have been having that last breastfeed just cos it was part of her night routine rather than it filling her up heaps?
