Topic: Home sick today Posted: 09 June 2006 at 7:59am |
BLAH I have day off work today cause I feel totally crappy! Not crampy (yet?). Headaches (dull), sore and yucky throat, light headed when I stand up suddenly or quickly, and generally unwell.
If this is AF turning on me (due tomorrow) I wish she would just get over herself already! If not then how come I got the flu jab this year and still got what sounds like a yucky flu!
Just wanted some sympathy...I feel yucky sob sob....

oh it 9is no fun to be sick, but good for you taking the day off.
Now, and this is only because it is a pet peeve of mine, it doesn't sound like you have the flu, flu is quite different which is why the jab wont affect what you have, as it is probably a very bad cold (which btw I feel have gotten worse since we were kids).
Curl up on the couch, with the duvet have some lemsip and rest!

Think positive Bombshell! It might not be AF turning on you ...it might just be the plague!

oh yeah saw HOuse and the plaugue episode...thanks for that!!!!
well i cried my way through doctor phil. got angry at oprahs show then cried, so gave up on the tv!!!
Yes might be a bad cold - the light head which makes me spin a little is the annoying bit.
More annoying is DH was taking me out tonight to a real nice posh restaurant as promised for ages and has cancelled cause when he rung I sounded sick still....so we going for a cheapie meal (doesnt get him out of the nice one another night though).
Then in same breath he told me HE wants to go to sylvia park tonight cause he went with work mate this morning for something and found some cool stuff we apparently need. and he got park easy etc...well maybe not tonight!!! So too sick to be taking out for nice restaurant but not too sick for sylvia park HUMPH!!!

LOL we went to sylvia park at like 8pm...was still busy but not bad....went into warehouse and got a ps2 pack he has been watning - well they had run out but still had boxes so guy gave us the better model etc all for same price as the cheapie - cant beat that!!! SO DH came home and drove me nuts while he played PS2 for hours....
ME - well I got a new storage thingey from the cool new store - Howards? Got soem freebies with it too....Funny thing - I used the amex to pay and the guy serving us had no idea what it was and had to ask his boss (we have a platinum one) and he had never seen one that colour before. Was so funny. Yep DH will be paying bills on that little trip no worries there ginger!!!
BTW as i mentioned in other post - no AF yet, mega headache (sign she on way), still light headed and feel BLAH!!! Got BFN on POAS test this am!

I remember my husband had someone hand over a black one at his work, he spent ages checking it as had never seen one before, very few are around, world wide.
I WANT ONE!

The huge new shopping complex they opened in Mt Wellington (Auckland) and caused total traffic chaos with all the people trying to cram themselves in ! We used to live 15 mins walk from there, but probably won't go and take a look at it for a while, when things have died down a bit (IF they die down that is).

to memory the black amex is an invite only card so mainly used by celebrities and multi millionaires...i think that is how it works - so probably given at the stores you mentioned by wealthy americans who didnt look it but lived mega wealthy lives back home but we would never know who they are....i think the black card comes with personal service such as airlines, butlers etc too.....
Yeah dont think we will ever get to that status somehow! LOL
Sylvia park - well id say avoid for a few weeks apparently they had to close all the feeders again yesterday. I think even pakuranga and botany were busy because of it....

My friend's dad has a black one Apparently it gets delivered to your house in an amoured security van. hehehe Seems all a bit much given the likelihood of it dropping out of your wallet anyway!
