I hear you! I got mine back (have a slipped disc anyway) at about 9 weeks as I lifted Jack in a funny way. It's all that relaxin hormone running through you. Just take care of yourself or let your midwife know if it doesn't go away. I myself am being referred to the hospital physio to hopefully get a support band or similar as I don't see being heavily pregnant and with a toddler is going to be that comfortable!

I have been getting a sore back too - mostly just my upper back and when I sit in the same place for too long like in an office chair or driving for a few hours.

I find it gets better if I lie back on the couch or in a comfy chair. I figured it must be the hormones relaxing the muscles that support your back

I had a sore back early on too, my chiro said it is really common as the relaxin hormones are making everything move and stretch and as my pregnancy has progressed my back has become more stable (and less sore) It was at its worse at around 12-15 weeks

With my first pregnancy the sore back kicked in very early and progressively got worse! i would lay on the bed (after trying to make it) crying because it hurt so much and i couldnt get up!!!!
With the second preg i had no back probs but i had pelvic displacia (SP??) so that area was just as painful and super hard to walk and i had the belt things and crutches!!
This time the pain is in my bum! at the top of my legs!!!
You just cant win!!!!! i did find a pattern with me - where the pain was during pregnancy was generally where the pain was during labour! so labour pain in my back was by far the worst!!!!!
