I stayed there after the birth of my daughter, that was 6 years ago (eek )
I loved it, they were great i thought , food is fine , i mean its not as good as a homecooked meal, but what is?

If i remember rightly they provide some nappies, but still bring your own just in case, i bought the clothes i needed for Caitlyn , and my pjs .
I cant remember how many clothes i had for 3 days , a more recent mum would remember better than me haha

Hi there
I was at birthcare almost 5 years ago.
They supplied disposable and cloth nappies and wipes. They also supplied a couple of pads - but strongly suggested I needed to get my own (which I did). I wore my own clothes and dressed baby in her own clothes too.

Food was good but like Caitlynsmygirl said - it's not as great as your own home cooked food.

I had a private room which was great - not sure about shared rooms. Have heard a mix of stories.

I'm planning on having #2 there - so it must have been okay for me to return.

I had a shared room with Maya and never had any probs, had a private room with the gremlins and that was fine too.

Food was nice but not enough of it! I was starving! I had friends bring in supplies (mmm, sushi, kebabs, ham rolls...)

They supply nappies and maternity pads, you have to supply your own breast pads. I've packed about 6 outfits for this wee bub coz from memory they tend to get mucky, esp as all my babies were early so were vernixy, plus it's fun to change baby! Until the novelty wears off after a few weeks of them pooing and spewing on everything!

Hi ya

I stayed at Birthcare when I had my son about 10.5 weeks ago! They will supply all nappies, cloth wipes and your pads - no problems whatsoever. The food was really good IMO. And plenty of it, DH actually shared my meals!   But do take plenty of clothes for yourself and your baby. DS threw up on me twice so needed to change clothes both times!

Yep I was at Birthcare when my boy was born 5 1/2 months ago. Use their pads, they're fine... but I doubled them up (one on top of the other) so they were nice and soft. Used their nappies too. One thing they didn't have was wipes. They did have those blue ones you put in water though.

I thought the food was just as good as homemade! It was really yummy. I stayed in a private room too cos I birthed there and it was awesome. Just one thing, we got lots of microwave meals and snacks for DH cos the meals there for partners are sooo expensive and not worth it. The private rooms have fridges.

We went through heaps of baby clothes cos Harry sickied everywhere. I just wore comfy pants and breastfeeding singlets when I was there and that was real comfy but I still felt good cos I was 'dressed' if you know what I mean.
Mama to DS1 (5 years), DS2 (3 years) and...
