Only about 8 more weeks for me until baby number 2 arrives, and I can't believe how tired I have become. In the mornings after having a shower and getting lucy ready, all I want to do is climb back into bed and die! This tiredness has hit me in a big way. I am resting lots, but is there anything else that I should be eating that might give me a boost up the bum?!!

Try taking some iron and B12 supplements. You may be lacking in those as well as just general tiredness.

Lisha I understand completley. Alex has spent a lot of mornings watching tv lately because I have had no energy. I have been taking berrocca every morning which seems to help a little.

Hi I'm exactly the same at that far along (not now lol). I found yoghurt/milk really helped give me a boost at morning/afternoon tea. Your baby is doing some massive growth spurts at this stage so you will need lots of rest whatever you do. Are you taking iron already?

Went out and stocked up on some Gaviscon and Floradix, I have mega bad heartburn and thinking this floradix will give me a kick in the bum! Has anyone tried it?

I had Quick Eze mint flavoured tabs and they worked a treat - and also taste really nice. I hated Gaviscon - made me want to throw up!
I also hear you on the tired-ness - I'm really tired this time around and I'm only 6 weeks along!

I hear what you are saying Lisha and I am coming up 18 weeks. Certainly haven't had the boost of energy yet that is for sure.
