Okay, sorry if this is TMI but I've had several ops to remove endometriosis which has resulted in some scaring, and apparently quite limited movement of an "axial uterus". Now that I'm pregnant, I'm wondering if anyone can tell me whether that will affect my pregnancy/ability to give birth???

I was told that pregnancy will help my endo.   Not sure about   "axial uterus" specifically but I know I had bad scarring and my specialist who did my surgery and is now my OB said it won't be a problem.

Hope its the same for you - Congrats on your pregnancy and I hope everything goes smoothly!

Maybe talk to the surgeon who did your surgery to find out more

I've had a lot of surgeries on my uterus, and depending on the amount of scarring you have, can decide whether or not you can give birth naturally.

I've had a fallopian tube, ovary, endo and fibroids removed from my uterus. Because of all of that surgery, I had to have an elective c-section.

If it is just endo you have, you will probably be able to have a natural birth. The only time when scarring becomes a problem is when they have to cut things off your uterus.

Sometimes scarring can affect whether or not a fertilised egg can implant properly and the growth of the placenta.

Endo normally improves after having a child, it is just the inital part of trying to get pregnant!

If you have any concerns, you should talk to your specialist.
