Endometriosis and scaring

Okay, sorry if this is TMI but I've had several ops to remove endometriosis which has resulted in some scaring, and apparently quite limited movement of an "axial uterus". Now that I'm pregnant, I'm wondering if anyone can tell me whether that will affect my pregnancy/ability to give birth???

no one will be able to tell you 100%................i got told my birth would be fast and sweet ....they lied..............was critical in hospital for 2mnths............i didnt have endi but had a ovarie removed so had scaring.................my friend gave birth awesomely and she had endi my other friend is preg this time with it and so far so good.............i dont think anyone can honestly say to you cause of your scaring you are gonna have a bad one...............stay positive, stay healthy and TRY and enjoy it...............(i hate being pregs but luv end result ) good luck

I've had a lot of surgeries on my uterus, and depending on the amount of scarring you have, can decide whether or not you can give birth naturally.

I've had a fallopian tube, ovary, endo and fibroids removed from my uterus. Because of all of that surgery, I had to have an elective c-section.

If it is just endo you have, you will probably be able to have a natural birth. The only time when scarring becomes a problem is when they have to cut things off your uterus.

Sometimes scarring can affect whether or not a fertilised egg can implant properly and the growth of the placenta.

Endo normally improves after having a child, it is just the inital part of trying to get pregnant!
