I just took a test yesterday and got a positive result!

My question is, do I need to go see my GP to have a test with them or is the at-home test enough to start getting in touch with midwives in the area?

I really dislike my GP, so if that appointment is necessary, could I do it at Family Planning instead or does it need to be GP?

Congratulations!

Most GPs don't even test these days, they just take your word of a positive HPT as proof enough. My midwife never asked anyway so its prob a step you can skip!

Thank you! I was hoping that would be the case. I think I'll get in touch with some midwives and go from there. :)
