The Truth About Food on TV One Last Night.
They had 6 men with low sperm count and damaged DNA. After 6 months of drinking fruit and vege smoothies, their sperm count had doubled and the DNA quality improved. With one couple concieving a viable pregnancy after 2 1/2 years of trying.
I'll be putting more fruit and vege into DFs diet to improve his swimmers.

those swimmers of theirs need as much help as they can get. its a wonder we ever get pregnant! blind little buggers not asking for directions.

Asparagus too, it has lots of folic acid. The vitamin C helped make their DNA healthy. all them lovely antioxidants.

Last weeks one was on feeding kids, which was interesting too. The whole rationing out treats thing didn't work at all, better not to have them in the house at all.

Oh good, thank you ladies for also thinking that sperm drinking was gross. I will be telling DP that other people think it's disgusting too. He seemed to think that there was nothing wrong with it at all.
I could barely watch.

Oh that was sooooo gross I couldn't watch it!!
I thought they were just going to, you know, have some love, and then fill in a questionaire - not "drink" it from a test tube!!
DH came into the room at the same time I was grossing out, and he thought it was disgusting too - though turns out he thought it was a strangers manjuice the ladies were drinking lol, that would have been soooo much worse!
But yeah the sperm race was awesome

He he, I have been cracking up reading all your responses to the sperm chugging. Makes me laugh to think that all round the country there were women in their lounges grossing out while the men were oblivious.
