First time we left DD she was 10 months old and that was after I had settled her in to bed for the night. I was so anxious about it that I made DH leave the housewarming early only to find DD was still asleep and hadn't made a peep lol

Am planning to go out for tea with DH for our 3 year anniversary next week - though talking to DH lastnight he asked why we couldnt take DD with us..... obviously he doesnt seem to see the value in date night

I have the opposite - my DH is pushing for us to leave him! He planned a day out for this weekend, spending the day at the beach, then dinner, then a movie but I FREAKED out! I don't want to be apart from DS for that long this early (9weeks), plus having to deal with sore boobs/pumping etc. He couldn't understand it, and made some comments about how he doesn't want me to become the kind of mum who can't leave her kid :( In the end we compromised - dinner and a movie while MIL babysits.

Hmm can't quite remember when exactly, probably around 4-4 1/2mths old. DP was at work and MIL and me went out to Life Group and FIL (Bubbys Granddad) stayed and "Babysat".

The only other time was for a test and DP was working so MIL looked after her.

However I didn't need to say much or write a huge list because we live with them so they know what to do with her. Plus if its after 7pm thats her bedtime and she is fast asleep. Now shes on Solids (and loving it) I feel more comfy leaving her with them for longer as if shes hungry they can do something about it.
Kiara is 3 and Teagan is 2, now we're expecting our long awaited 3rd!

We went to the movies when DS was 2 months old. I sat with the phone in my lap the whole time (phone off rule didn't apply to me I didn't think) and just about sprinted to the car after. DH wanted to go get dinner!

I left pages and pages and pages of notes on feeding, burping, sleeping, wrapping.... you name it I wrote it. If this happens do A, if that doesn't work try B....

Then at 3 months we went to a wedding and Mum babysat again. I tried to tone down the notes, but still loads of info. It made me feel better that they had loads of info to help them out for any situation and so that things went smoothly.
