DS hs been pushing his legs under his bum for a wee bit now and trying to get on his hand's and knees, but today i put the jolly jumper down beside him to get it ready to put him in it and he pushed his knee to the side and pushed himself along the ground to reach to strap..He got to it with one push but what i wana know is what he did commando crawling or crawling ? How do you define them ?

That's commando crawling. Cross-crawling (most often shortened to crawling) is when they're up on all fours and moving one hand and diagonal knee to move. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsOhmRHoQw8&feature=fvw this is crawling, or learning to crawl anyway

Yup commando. My DS comando crawled for abour 4weeks and is now crawling

agree with commando. DS never did this, he just zigzag rolled to go forward until he could crawl lol.

Commando crawling is so funny, DS kinda dragged himself along on his tummy and threw his legs about to move forward(hard to explain), it looked so funny!

"Crawling" is when they are on their hands and knees and actually moving hand, knee hand knee.

Yeah DS started doing that a coupel of weeks ago Bubie, he would go forward to his knees, drop to his tummy and drag himself across the floor using his legs for a bit of momentum.. it was the funniest thing!

However he just started crawling on all fours yesterday, I'm so proud
