Hi Guys,
Am looking at the winz website and cant figure out - the table they have for what you may get - is it gross combined family income or main child careers income? So would they only count my income or mine and DH when seeing if we qualify for childcare subsidy?
I just called them about this. In our case, it looked like they were counting both mine and DH's. On the other hand, we still qualified for the maximum amount unless they came to more than $1200 a week (which is a fair amount).
it is combined income for the household, and depends on how many babies you have, but it is worth phoning them to check, as far as I could tell we werent entitled but when I phoned we actually were, once I had my second child.
