Maybe contact cariboo and get one directly from them?

Ha how obvious, thanks. I hadn't realised they sold direct to customers. Perfect

Sleepstore do custom made matresses if you don't have any luck with Cariboo

They are just foam with a pillow case type cover on them. YOu could always get a peice custom cut from a foam place like para rubber.

I have a cariboo bassinet and like ladybird said, it's a bit of foam with a cover on it - nothing special! I've heard of people getting them made from places like Para rubber for a lot cheaper.

Thanks ladies, I have the original now, so can measure it all up and might just get one made up for us, would be a lot cheaper I imagine

I didn't like the idea of a foam mattress for bubs, so I brought one from the Sleepstore which was wool and suprisingly not too much more expensive that a foam one would be.

The sleepstore mattresses are either $180 or $80, so pretty pricey really. I would prefer a wool mattress, but that is a lot of money, especially to be used by one baby for a max of 6 months.

I got a replacement foam mattress for my cariboo bassinett from Babycity. They sent away for it, cost about $20 or $30 I think.
