Where do you have your capsule or car seat for your baby?

Left, centre or Right?

At the mo, I have the baby carseat in the middle & the Booster next to it. This means that I have to basically climb in to put Cooper in his car seat & I have to click Alia's seat belt as she can't reach between the carseat & the booster.

I am thinking of shifting the car seat to either the Left or Right side. Which is better or should I just leave it in the middle? I have anchors in all three positions.

I don't go anywhere that will be getting either child out on the traffic side so that's not a worry.

As far as I know the 'order of safety' is Middle, behind Passenger, behind driver.

We have to have one behind the driver and one behind the passenger as we wouldn't be able to fit them side by side.

Thanks Tishy, I thought that was the case but couldn't remember.

The Booster is on the passenger side. We have a big/wide car so we can fit them next to each other.

The option is to get a half booster & then Alia can do it up herself. Our Booster is a large one unfortunately.

We have one on each side, Baby behind passenger seat and toddler behind driver. (only as I have to lock the car, no remote, so its easier to get Leah out last just as I lock up)

We have one behind passenger and one behind the driver seat because the middle seat is slightly curved and doesn't provide a secure base for a carseat . Also it stops the toddler playing with the baby. Our toddler is behind the passenger seat as that is where the bolt is. Baby still in capsule so doesn't need a bolt.

Jack currently sits behind the passenger. We can't have any seat in the middle as DH is very tall and when he drives he can't have the seat back far enough with a car seat there.
When this baby arrives they will go behind the passenger and Jack will move to behind the driver. Again because DH can't put the seat back far enough with the capsule behind him. I knew this would be the case so had anchor bolts put on both sides

Although if I had one I'd put them behind the passager seat so I could see them.

i had Vincent behind the passenger seat. He got moved to behind the driver when the car got broken into on his side (left). Now he is behind driver & David is behind Passenger. i had always put the youngest behind the passenger as it means i can see them & reach them easier if i need to attend to them at all.

When I only had one - it went behind passenger seat so we could get out on curb-side of car - have mostly parallel parks in our town.

Now I have a capsule behind both front seats, and next size up in the middle seat! He gets in and out of his seat through the front between driver and passenger!
