My son has recently turned one and has a bottle when he goes to bed and then 1 when he had a nap during the day at the moment he has 2 sleeps during the day. Hes my first baby so am unsure as to when I should stop with bottles and when should I start to try to get him to sleep without a bottle and how when the time is right.
I have a 2 1/2 year old that still has a bottle when she goes to bed and had a nap bottle til she stopped napping about 5 months ago, I see no reason to stop, shes happy, Im happy and she gets her teeth brushed pretty regularly, dont change whats not broken :)
We are similar - my son is nearly two and has a bottle for his nap during the day and we have just changed his bottle at night to a sipper cup which he seems to like.
I made a comment to someone a while ago that I wish he would drink his milk from a sipper cup and they said why so you can do something else while he drinks it? Hmmm maybe - she then said if and when he is ready to use a sipper cup try to still make the time special and spend it with him cuddling on the couch.
So I see no probs with a bottle till whenever works. Enjoy the time.
