Floyd has been crawling for just over a week and Ive noticed some of the skin on his feet is red and raw looking like a popped blister if that makes sense. He keeps touching it so I assume its bothering him. Is this normal, the only thing I can think of to stop it is to make him wear socks and in this weather thats just mean!!

Forgot to say we have wooden floors

OUCH! Socks would be mean, but maybe if you got some cheap ones (you bargain hunter you!) and cut the heels out and the long top off, so it's just covering the top of his foot and held in place with the toes and ankle... making ANY sense? would let some air get in...

It should get better eventually, with his feet toughening up. But still ouchies for now.

Angus was the same Sarah, especially on the sides, i put socks on for a bit, wasnt anywhere near as hot, but i also left him most of the time to toughen them up and it only lasted about a week and he never got them again. Angus wasnt too worried about them.

Sorry no real ideas but hopefully they will heal pretty fast...
