Thank you everyone for the kind wishes! I think I may have spoken too soon though
I just did another test (couldn't use FMU cos I didn't have a test then) and it was only JUST positive.
It took the full 5 minutes to come up and it is really faint. Its definitely pink, not a shadow, but still....I thought it would get darker everyday?
The test I took yesterday afternoon was darker which has me worried a little bit
I'll take a pic and put it up!
Can anyone request pregnancy bloods from their doctor?

Im sure your still UTD you could of had too much fluids which diluted the test.
Yep go into your GP show them your tests and ask for bloods to be done to track HCG. It should be free too because its pregnancy related.

Same brand or different? Also, had you eaten/drank anything prior to testing? That can dilute the urine enough to make the test come out fainter... My first bfp with Jaelyn was reallly faint, then the next morning I did another FMU test and it was darker... then when i did another one later that day to show my DP, it was almost as faint as the previous days one... Gave me a fright, but I was most definitely pregnant because a couple of days later I got an extremely dark positive in the middle of the day...

I had the exact same thing happen Mum21, I did a test and it was dark red line, then I did another test the next day and I could barely see it .
So to set my mind at ease , I proceeded to do another 6 tests , then I went to the dr who told me
" I have been a GP for over 20 years and only ever seen ONE false positive, if you had 2 postives , its 99percent certain you are pregnant "
And evaps on first response are a clear/ grayish silvery colour ...that come up well after the test has dried, usually half an hour or more later
...
...and I can still see that line , its faint , but its there

Awww thanks Kelly..I just got back from the docs. They took a blood test but the results may not be in till Monday.
They made me poas again and damn it all, it was so so so so faint I couldn't even see it (but the lovely nurse assured me she could see it kind of )
The doc seems to think it may have been a chemical pregnancy to go from dark lines to barely there so he said to temp in the morning and do a test with FMU....if its negative then he said I am most likely not pregnant.
I'm holding out hope still!!!! Afterall, AF hasn't arrived so SOMETHING must be happening down there

Mum21 when I got UTD I did a test in the morning and it had a reasonable line then I went to the doctor later in the day and did a test and it was hardly there, so faint. Because I hardly had any pee! lol a line's a line and my blood test proved it, I don't think they should say its a chemical pregnancy how could they even know that at this time, they shouldn't scare you like that. Good luck and just keep testing Im sure it will get darker. Don't worry about silly doctors.

I agree wtih mrsh101 ! tho its hard, try not to worry too much about what the dr said, they say dumb things sometimes, mine made feel petrified when he couldn't hear my babies heartbeat on the dopplerthing when I was only 8 weeks
Those tests they use at the Drs , I always take ages getting a good solid positive on too .

Yeah, I reckon you're UTD.
3 false positives? Not likely!
Congrats

Thanks to everyone for the support yesterday! It was a long day!
I took another test this morning and it was another faint BFP!!! Then the nurse rung with my blood results which came out at 71 so she said I'm definitiely pregnant but just had a late implanter so the hcg hasn't built up too much yet.
Ooooooh!!! I'm so happy!
