We are heading up to Auckland and thinking of going here for a 4d scan - anyone had one done there (without referral) and would you recommend them.. they seem quite reasonable with their price of $50 which it says you get a DVD or CD - which one did you get?

We got one done in Hamilton with Rhyley and so want to get one done whilst in Auckland this time.

I had one done there with no referal, we left it a bit late (around 32 weeks) so the pics werent as great as some of the others Ive seen (so my fault not theirs if that makes sense)  The first time we went he had his hand over his face so they didnt charge us and let us rebook for later in the week.  We got a dvd with the pics on plus about 9 printed small pics.

we have been there too and found them fantastic and she got some great pictures. Got me jumping around the room to make the baby move so could get some better shots. We got cd/dvd and some pictures.

Just thought I would give Auckland Xray the thumbs up and recommend them if you are thinking about getting a 4d scan.

We paid $50 and got 6 printed out photos, 1 photo cd with 10 different photos and a DVD of the whole scan. it lasted around 15 minutes but lil madam did show us her face etc... so no need to spend more time getting her to move as she was very active.

Very pleased we did it

I wish we could have gotten some but Jake was not a fan of the ultrasound and would curl up and hide as soon they would find him he would dash of again. By the time he was too big to swim away his head was too low....

Will def try again next time around.

I'm will go for this in about a month or so and I'll be going to Auckland Radiology in the city. They aren't priced too badly...
