Has anyone been tested for these and what does a low positve IgM mean??

Just a bit confused by my results back from the gp and thought i would pick your brains before speaking to my doc directly.

Thanks

Laura

Hi Kicker, I received a blood test result from the GP with an anticardiolipin =6, but I too have no idea what it means.  Would love to hear from anyone who has any info on it too

Hey Kicker, I have just had a Lupus anticoagulant blood test done and I was researching on the net for myself and found that it has to do with blood clotting causing miscarriage.

But anyway Im sure I saw anticardiolipin also mentioned somewhere, so not totally sure but think it probably has something to do with blood clotting and "antiphospholipid antibodies" - don't ask me to explain it but if you google some of these words you might find abit of info.

I just went to spec appt. this morning & I am having those tests done to.
As well as a AMH test (Anti mullerian hormone) to test the quality of my eggs.
I won't have those results for about 3 weeks, but fx that my eggs are nice & healthy. The Dr. seems confident they will be fine seeing as I am only 27, but he said that it can cause m/c's so it is a good test to have.
