This whole waiting for my AF is starting to drive me crazy!
My cycle last month was 23 days which in theory would mean my AF should have arrived last Wednesday. I'm now at CD28 and still no sign of it.
I had cramping about 10 days ago for a week, major headaches and generally felt "pregnant" - not that I really know what that feels like!? It didn't feel like AF cramping either. No spotting though.
Took a Discover pregnany test on Sat morning and was quite surprised that it read BFN.
Can anyone offer up any advice or similar tales? I think if my AF doesn't arrive by the end of this week I'll test on Sat again. Its so frustrating though!!
Well, this is what I'm not sure about. I came off the BCP (Mini-pill) in late December so have only had 1 proper AF since then I think. This was at 23 days. So I may be being hasty but it's weird as my body is prone to being early for things rather than late. Or maybe I should stop thinking about it too much and give myself another week!!??
23 days seems like a very short cycle, and if you just came off BCP it could take awhile for your cycles to become 'normal'. What you are describing happening to you 10 days ago could have possibly been ovulation which means that its probably too early to test so I'd give it another week or so and then test again.
TTC#1: Jan 07
Aug 08: Lap found and excised Stage 3 Endo
Nov 08: 2nd lap clear - given OK to TTC after next AF
when i went to the doc e few weeks ago and meantioned that i was no longer taking my pill.
he said that a preg test wont show a positive till 2 weeks after when your period should have been (6 weeks from your last period)
Milly I came off BCP about the same time as you. My first AF cycle was 28 days, then my most recent one was 31 days. So coming off BCP could have muddled up your cycle for a bit.
Try not to stress too much. I stressed for the 3 days I was "late" and kept getting BFN. It doeesn't help the situation much, but I know how you feel.
