Over the last few days I have had a fussy baby pulling of breast. This usually indicates a lack of supply, I pumped about an hour after a feed and there was only about 10 mls there. BF was going pretty well after some real rough patches, and I have been trying to work out what 's changed. AF started about the same time as the fussing. From what I can work this can affect milk supply. I think the same might have happened last month too. I read Caclium and magnesium tablets can help. Has anyone had any luck with this?
Other wise if things don't improve, once AF is done, I'm going to have to introduce formula in a sippy cup or something to keep her going. I feel really sad about this and am trying not stress I know this makes things worse.
i know its probably a stupid question but are you definitly eating enough and not feeling stressed about anything coming up. My milk supply was completely non existant and they think the 2 biggest factors were that i didnt each much and that i was realy stressed because we had a boarder living with us who i couldnt stand the sight of. Just a thought?
Oh & forget about what your boob produces when you pump. I could only get 30ml off one of my boobs when it hadn't been fed on for ages. Babies get a truckload more out than the pump does.
