So I don't think it would do you any harm to give Krystiana her solids first if thats what works best for you. In terms of refusing her milk feeds, I remember with Maya there came a point where I had to do what Lyla suggested - feed her in a quiet room away from distraction, otherwise she was far too busy looking around.
As Krystiana's solids intake increases too it's natural that her breastmilk increase will decrease. At six months she only *needs* 4 good feeds in a 24 hour period so if she fusses over them try not to stress too much. As if stressing isn't what we do as mums anyway!

Then let that settle and sometimes a feed after that. So she's feeding heaps less than about 3 weeks ago.

Isn't she 'supposed' to still be having feed before solids? I'm starting to wonder if she is trying to self-wean, perhaps because of my flavour change last week (should be fine now though!)... she doesn't seem to have a prob with my flavour in the middle of the night though! But at nights she's still waking about 4 hourly for feeding, so is it just that she really is that hungry and needs more solids to fill her up?

Today she ate
2 1/2 tins of food
1/2 pc bread
a plain biscuit
1/2 a cracker
about 1/2 tin worth of pumpkin soup
and a few feeds on top of that but I can't remember how many.

When I say she won't feed until she's eaten, she'll act all hungry etc but when I put her in the feeding position she zips her lips and turns away and tries to sit up LOL then bites her finger and watches what we're eating!! She's such a crack up. But anyway, how do I know if she's drinking enough?
