oh big hugs gen....and saw how sick wee Maddy was so am sure she is just wanting mum at moment...despite just wanting daddy at botany....tell him i thought he was great with his baby girl...def a hands on dad!!!

make sure you go somewhere you cant hear her every now and then ok....she will be ok and sometimes just being out of earshot helps...well it does with me anyways....

Erin has been a bit like this too Gen, and I jump at every little squawk - but have to remind myself that we still need to stick to some kind of vague routine and once I've done XYZ I can spend some time cuddling her until she can't stand it anymore ! And I think Liz has hit it right on the head - you are by no means making her cry, she has been pretty crook, plus maybe there are some more teeth moving about ? You are both doing a fabulous job, and I know it is hard to believe but she does still love and need you no matter how frustrating things get. Oh, and please do not forget that I can be there in 15 mins flat if you need company for the sake of sanity - or someone to share the chocolate with ! Alternately I can bring chocolate with me too, I happen to have some banoffee in the pantry...

We've had one of those days too - Gina hardly slept at all and wanted us to carry her/play with her all day long! Thankfully she went down after her bath and has been peacefully asleep since around 7pm. I can't stand the shreiking noise so we gave in and did what she wanted all day No prizes for guessing who's the boss in the house

if she has been unwell then she may still be feeling a bit sick and want company still...
you might have to just sit and rock her for a while.

It is possible that she has got use to being carried and not wanting to not being carried.... its amazing how a 'habit' forms so quickly.
Stick to your guns as I beleive you are doing the right thing. As long as you have covered all cases (which you have by the sounds of it) she will be okay and babies learn quick.
We (I say it was 'we' but really it was me) had to be tough on Rhyley when we got home from out holiday in UK as he got use to being cuddled to sleep and in the same room as us... it only took 2 nights and he was back to pre holiday...

Oh lordy, for the first time in a while I finally feel like I'm about to lose the plot. Maddie is in her cot having the umpteeth temper tantrum for the day/weekend/week and we are finally at our wits end. :cry: I mean she is absolutely shrieking at the top of her lungs unless we get her up. And she is do dog tired!

She has been fed, bottled, cuddled, pamoled everything. There is nothing more we can do.

She wouldn't even eat dinner unless we were holding her! If we put her in her high chair she had a total temper tantrum!!
