I left Olivia to decide when she would move on to lumps - 8 months. Unfortunately she got sick and chucked that in. When she bounced back she was onto finger food and scoffing everything in sight. Not to worry, you are doing a fab job by trying though

At what age did you start feeding your baby mashed food? Ollie is approaching 7 months next week and he loves his food and is eating 3 x pureed tins of food per day. My problem at the moment is that I have tried to feed him mashed food but he has gagged and vomited the food a couple of times. At this stage he doesn't have any teeth yet - do you think I should wait a bit longer until he has some teeth or should I still keep trying? It makes me so sad to see him vomiting up his food
