I'm about 2 months post laproscopy and have some questions about the scars.

DH swears by orange oil, which I've been using.

I think it's helped somewhat with the appearance, but I find if I use it too often I get a little irritation from it in the form of red bumps.

Also, the last week or so I've been having problems with my scars really itching.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any tips for minimizing scars? I know there are some ointments, but I'm not entirely convinced of their efficacy.
