Glad to hear Xanda is well again, long may it last.

Alize enjoyed his day at daycare yeaterday, he grizzled when I first handed him over to one of the workers and then while I was signing him in I saw him playing having a great time so I went up and gave him a kiss goodbye and left. When I arrived to pick him up he was playing in the same place I left him lol. I checked the sleeping log and he had a morning sleep for 2hrs and an afternoon one for 40mins so very settled in or he wouldnt have slept so well.

I am so happy with it and now Im guessing he wont be so shy around people he doesnt know that well as he still wont go to any of Fou's family.

Mercedes has had me up since 4 with a headache so Im guessing she wont be up to reading her chapter in the bible, so I may have to get his godmother to do her part altho she was so excited and has been practising it.

Xanda is good, back to DC today, as I had a full day teaching. Apparently he grizzled most of the day and kept asking for me, he has been home with me for the better part of 2 weeks. I felt rather guilty when I got there, I was 45min early and he was already standing at the gate and had been for the last few parents who had come through.

Ahhhh so now I've caught up! Kels I guess you're grieving to some extent the loss of the dreams you had of being a family of 5 (or maybe more) and the things you were doing together. I'm glad you've been able to treat yourself because it sure has been a hard year but the family seems all the more better for it and you really are doing a great job as a solo mum. And probably get flack for it too Hope today went well. I guess to some extent the 3rd is the anniversary of finding out you were in it "alone" (but with the kids) and the 4th is the anniversary of the life that you guys have as 4 of you.

We are putting the christmas tree up after school/work and then the girls are going to go over the readings from the bible for the baptism!

The pull is too strong Ann.... Here I am again an hour after saying our goodnights lol

Thanks Ann!

He was really settled there when I took him for his initial visit last Friday. I stayed with him for 20mins observing as he toddled off from me as soon as we got there, then I was supose to leave and go back and pic him up after an hour. SO after an hour I headed back to find him tucked down asleep his cot (at the DC) so they said I could leave him and they would call me when he woke up and 90mins later they rang to say he had just woken up and was having a nappy change and morning tea and I was free to pick him up when I was ready..... So I have no worries about tomorrow altho I havnt ever had to leav him and go to work with him crying, as he did when I left on Friday even tho it didnt last too long......

Ok after that novel it is seriously bedtime

I got asked if they were triples in the mall when I had them together alone and I was fussing over all three as they were all pulling onto me etc and Emma and the big girls had gone to the toilet.

I have this feeling that tomorrow ill be fine as if nothing happened as it was aSunday when he walked out and I relate it to the day rather than the date if that makes sense. I have been tearly all day today so Im guessing that is why. Its the same as last Sunday it felt more significant as the year before on that sunday Alize was born.

Ann that photo is a classic and no they didnt hurt themselves Sienna started first as she wanted me to pick her up then Mercedes got in on the act, then of course Alize had to then... ANd here I was pretending to conduct them before quickly taking the last pic and then getting them out..

Since staying with the gremlins I have realised that babies are real sheep esp in a sibling situation like the 3 of them were in. They ate, bathed and played togther and its funny one cried they all did, one laughed they all did, one crawed somewhere they all did etc. It was just soooo funny!

aww kels - your better off with out him - so are the kids. They have a fantastic mother who does everything for them and would never desert them. you are their world and they are yours - don't forget its YOU who has turned them into the great they are It would of been hard for you that he didn't turn up to Alize birthday but that also goes to prove how better off you are than be with a selfish person like him (I personally don't know him but someone who can desert his kids and not turn up to his sons first birthday must be selfish amongst other things)...

Chin up babe - perhaps you need to do something extra special to remember the day - what a shame the baptism wasnt tomorrow it would of been something 'happy' to remember on that date instead

aw kels, i hope tomorrow is as nice a day as you can make it. i know that it will be a hard day to get through, but i hope that you will feel freer after it, your last day thinking of what was.

a year ago today jordis got out of neonatal, weighing a cool 4lb 2oz. bit of a bittersweet day today (and she has slept worse today than she did then!)

Alize is getting baptised this Tuesday. I have both the girls reading out of the bible at the service so Im very excited for it. Im having on a weekday due to my brother being down from Auckland and he is going back Wednesday night. He only arrived today so Tuesday was the perfact day as I have our work xmas lunch this wednesday.

OMGosh I have quite decided I am going to DIE if I dont get some nets for my house. The nets the landlord has up are terrible, ripped and different in each room. Sorry jumping back to the birthday.

We got to lollipops at 12 and me and inlaws didnt leave till 5pm Alize went home at 3pm after the cake as it CAME VERY LATE and with his reaction.. So I am defintely happy with having the party there as it was just great. I cant wait to post pics!

Ann the other pics are coming I am just having some trouble with dropshots but As I have no kids to bother me today I will have a posting party in the picture gallery and get busy posting everything

Birthday was awesome althou after Alize had a little piece of his birthday cake he started puffing on one side of his face Lucky it was right at the end of the party and my mum just took him straight home to have phenegan. I am under strict orders to call an ambulance if he doesnt respond to the phenegan and keeps puffing up but he didnt so he mum just put him to bed. I stayed at the party with all the older kids as the babies had all gone y then and the big kids were having fun.

His Dad didnt turn up which is sad but I have to keep reminding myself that is his loss. I am just pissed because he didnt bring Alize's older brother Christian 9yrs and sister Adina 10yrs to the party. Mercedes was missing them too.

Neither until I had him. Lesieli was 10lbs then Mercedes 8lb 6 so to have him little was so cool. Althou he was 2weeks early

oh and up date on the rash - I took Rhyley to dr to day - after all it is free - and its a Viral rash due to his cold.
