MissK, im so sorry you are having to go through this, I went through something similar in my first/last pregnancy where due to scan issues we opted to have a CVS done (amnio can only be done later on in gestation), our story didn't end well but the pre-lim results came back in less than 48 hours so we weren't left hanging. I think they are very similar procedures, didn't take long but was painful (they take a sample of the placenta which hurt)

Hi there I am 20 years old and have been given 1 in 45 chance for down and 1 in 200 for turners.

We are opting for an amnio is there any advise you have or what are your experiences.
