nothing worse than a sick child that cant tell you what is wrong... (i find plunketline a bit more helpful than healthline)

went home for lunch....Zaara was her normal chatty, bubbly self!!! Phew.....

Thanks guys....it was damn hard I tell you...feeling like nothing is under your control.....and the bubba that you love sooo much is soooo upset!! It is emotionally draining!!!

And LIZ...I was wondering what the h$%# the health line is there for?? they kept telling me keep an eye on her...Dah...its 4am what the h#@& do you think I am doing??

Hi guys,

On Tuesday when I went home after work, my aunt informed me that Zaara was feeling a bit warm. She did, but was happy and acting normal. By the end of the night she was a bit grumpy and still warm so I gave her some pamol and we all went to sleep. In the middle of the night she wakes up screaming and nothing we did made it better. She jumped from Dad to me...as if she could not get comfy! I didnt know what to do!!

She finally fell asleep in my arms and I let her sleep (I didnt get any sleep)....any ways...I took her to the doc at 9 on Wed and the doc said its a 48 hour bug and she should be ok.....NOT EVEN....she was grumpy and fevery the whole day, refused to eat or drink any thing except Breast Milk. She went to bed ok at night so I was hopeful...but she woke up at 3am screaming again with a hige fever of 39.8. I called the healthline and they were not much of a help. I forced pamol on her and she cried and cried and cried....jumped from dad to me....and finally fell asleep. In the morning she woke up and refused to eat...her fever was better but she still felt a bit warm....but she cried cried...jumped from my Aunt to me and back again.....they she would sleep and sleep...wake up cry and cry.....she had a few moment of smiles and then back at it!! She was also farting allot and it was smelling quite bad!!

I broke down and just sat there and cried....I didnt know what was going on with her and I felt helpless, useless....and just horrible!!

Took her to Docs and he said it might be a tummy bug that is going around but was not sure as she was not throwing up ....she did no poos but he thought its because she isnt eating! He was happy that she was not dehydrated because she still had plenty of tears!!

Any ways better night on Thur...and on Friday she did poos and MAN WAS IT GROSS ...The smell was soooooo yyyyuuuuukkkk. but she felt so much better after that. Thank God!!

She was better on Sat and completely herself yesterday!!
