Hi,

I understand your concerns, my husband has family there and I know that I would have a thousand questions if we had to go over once our baby arrives for whatever reason.
How about just asking your GP about vaccinations etc that baby may need.
I dont know much but all I can say is do not whatever you do drink the water, and avoid having ice in any sort of drink as that is a sure way to get a bug! Bottled water only!
And avoid the street food.

Hi there,
I wonder if anyone has travelled to India with an infant. My boy is six months old and we potentially could be travelling to India for 6 to 12 months.
Before we make the decision to go, I have queries about
1. avoiding sickness (the water and gastro bugs etc)
2. car seats and safely getting around locally
3. general life in India with an infant (dos and don'ts)
Can anyone help?
