Author: LeahNakaora102759
Subject: 43044
Posted: 08 February 2013 at 9:11am

Hi all,

I am 38 weeks pregnant today, and I have Gestational Diabetes. I am having a stretch n sweep on Tuesday next week, and then induction on Friday next week if the stretch and sweep doesn't work. My question is, how can I tell if my son's head is engaged? The stretch and sweep won't be done if he's not engaged, but I would love to avoid induction at the hospital if at all possible, so I'm also wondering if there is anything I can do to encourage him to engage? I am regularly sitting and rocking side to side on my swiss ball, and try to sit leaning forwards over the swiss ball as often as possible, although I do find this rather uncomfortable!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks :)
