Fairly normal i think. Maybe separation anxiety at this age? If its a real trouble you could try putting her into bed with you. Im pretty bad though i just feed my boy and he goes straight back to sleep. Its better than battling sleep for hours.

Apparently that's quite common.

Has your wee one had a big developmental milestone lately?

Check out The Sleepstore here for some useful info on infant sleep. They also have a FB page where you can ask questions and get really helpful advice.

    Author: DallasBell
Subject: 42053
Posted: 17 May 2012 at 8:13am

Hi - I have a 10 month old daughter, who up until 7 months was sleeping well, going to bed around 8-9pm, walking once between 2-4am, then sleeping till 8-9am. Now she is 10 months old and going to bed around 8pm but waking every 3+ times per night. Sometimes she doesnt want a feed, other times she does. Last night she went to bed 7pm, woke 11.30pm, 1.30am, 4.30am... 8am now and still sleeping. I have checked the obvious, she is warm, she self settles to bed at night and day, she sleeps a good 2 hours etc at least once per day plus a smaller sleep, sometimes a good 3 hour and 2 hour day sleep. She self settles each sleep. she has 4 top and 2 bottom teeth through, just come through. I thought it might be teething but now not sure. She is weaning to the bottle this week, but has been breast feed till then. She has no prob taking the bottle. Is eating solids and feeding well through the day. Am thinking of just letting her cry tonight and leaving her unless she gets really settled. Im just exhausted. When she cries and wakes, our 2 year old wakes up. Both kids only want Mummy. My husband works 7am- 10+ pm so although he offers to help, he is working full on days and really needs the sleep. Anyone else had anything similiar?
